Costumes
Dear Parents:
For almost three decades, Pat's Dance Studio has provided their students with an exciting performance experience through our annual recital. The recital offers students a professionally directed performance allowing them to present to their family and friends the results of a years hard work, dedication and progress. This experience helps build self-esteem, self assurance, and contributes to self confidence.
This letter contains costume information pertaining to our annual Recital in the Spring. It may seem a bit early, but in order to receive costumes in enough time to be sure that they meet to our satisfaction, they must be ordered as soon as possible.
Costumes
We spend many hours determining the correct costumes for each class. Costumes are always age-appropriate and of the highest quality.
Deposits/ Deposit Schedule
In an effort to ensure that costumes are delivered in time for school photographs in an organized distribution to our students, costume orders are placed in late November. Costume manufacturers do not accept cancellations or offer refunds on costume deposits: therefore we do not refund deposits. Deposit is due by November 17th.
All balances are due by February 2nd
Costumes will not be ordered until we have received a deposit/payments.
Costume Expense/ Costume Care
If your child is taking multiple classes, she will receive one pair of tights (except in some cases for ballet) Tap/Jazz combo classes perform one dance only. Any special orders, including extra-large sizes, may require an additional charge. We recommend that your child's name be place in all costumes, shoes, accessories and tights. Place costume in a garment bag with your child's name on the outside. Pack accessories in a clear plastic bag with your child's name on each bag.
Withdrawal
No refunds will be made if a parent or guardian withdraws a child from a dance class after costumes have been ordered.
Sizing
Costume measuring begins in October during scheduled class time. Each child will be measured in order to determine his or her proper size.
Distribution
Costumes will be given out Week of April 14th during class time. All costumes ,tights and accessories have been checked by our Staff. Once the costumes leave the studio, we cannot be responsible for lost , missing pieces or any damages.
Any past balances must be paid or costumes cannot be picked up.
Costume Payment Procedure
One Child/ one class............. Full payment
One Child / two or more classes OR
Two children or more..............Deposit needed
Payment/ Deposit due November 17th.
Balances due February 2nd.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable.
